Hi Chris. My name is Alan Carr . I was with Stage 2(Joe Mac and Brendan O'Brien) from 1973 -1977. I became the front man after Brendan's unfortunate accident in 1974. I have been in Canada since 1977, living now in Alberta and still singing full time. I meet up with Bowyer every now and then on my trips to Vegas, he is still in good form. I have some photos and Mp3s of Stage 2 if you are interested?. I spoke with Brendan O'Brien not long before he past and he seemed to be doing very well.

Hi Chris, this is a great site, I really love the showband material. Look forward to the next show. I have a lot of photos, articles, write ups, old spotlight magazines and lots of singles and lps. I am in Dublin from time to time and if you want to meet for an hour to have a look at, or photo copy stuff I will arrange that. If you wanted to pick out any (Scratchy ) lp tracks on to a cd I will do that for you at home. I applied to be a facebook friend now so you can get my contact details there.
