Showband Memories is a programme of music from, and information about the Showband Era. The programme goes out every three Fridays from 12-1PM on Digital Hub FM and is presented by Chris Williams. The next show will be broadcast on Friday 20th February at 12PM.

Throughout the series you will hear music from artists such as Brendan Bowyer, Dickie Rock, Joe Dolan, Eileen Reid, Brendan O'Brien, Butch Moore, Tina Reynolds, Sonny Knowles, Sean Fagan, Maisie McDaniel, Red Hurley, Sean Dunphy, Big Tom, Larry Cunningham, Tommy Drennan, Sandy Kelly, Philomena Begley, The Freshmen and many more.  

The programe will from time to time feature artists in profile as well as information about the songs and the ballrooms where the showbands fulfilled their primary role which was to entertain the crowds and in the words of Albert Reynolds, to Send Them Home Sweatin'.
