On this show I paid tribute to the late Dermot O'Brien, the renowned Irish musician and sportsman, on the eve of his third anniversary. I also delved into the Eurovision archive to play two of Ireland's Eurovision entries from the Showband Era, ahead of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. The show featured music from Butch Moore and Sean Dunphy (the two Eurovision entries), Dermot O'Brien (the artist in profile), Pat Lynch, Dickie Rock, Joe Dolan, Brendan O'Brien, Red Hurley, Fran O'Toole and Brendan Bowyer to name but a few. |
